Almost Shirt

The ALMOST sewing pattern is reminiscent of men's short-sleeved shirts with its cuffed sleeves, straight cut, and soft small collar. But make no mistake: the volume, length, and darts make it an adorable blouse that will quickly become an essential part of your handmade wardrobe. And for a more streamlined version, you can also sew a collarless variant of the blouse.

Sewing level: Intermediate
The technical points of the pattern are: attaching the flat collar, the neat finishing of the neckline with facings, assembling the sleeve (made easier by the 3-part sleeve), the sleeve hem cuff, and the bust and shoulder darts.

• 5 buttons, 10/12mm (Wink Glossy buttons, glitter buttons, mother-of-pearl buttons)
• 70 cm of G785 fusible interfacing
• Microtex sewing machine needles

Fabric suggestions

Soft and light fabrics between 70 and 200g/m2 that hold a crease when ironed to make finishing the collar and lapel easier: poplin, crepe, voile, twill, fine denim or chambray, in cotton, viscose, linen, tencel or silk.
