These Ikat fabrics have been made by Indian artisans, with every stage of the process done by hand. From spinning the cotton to form yarn, dyeing the yarn, resist-dyeing the warp, threading the loom to ensure the pattern lines up, to finally weaving the fabric. Each piece of fabric is unique and has its own qualities.
