ポチョとは、ポチョっと筆を紙の上に置く仕草から名ずけたものです。ガーゼの透け感にのったポチョを、自然界の景色になぞらえ、それを見る人の営みへ名前が繋がっていきました。

Pocho is named after the gesture of placing the brush on the paper. Pocho, which has a sense of sheer gauze, is likened to the scenery of the natural world, and the name is connected to the activities of those who see it.

リネンの布や色をみた時に美しさではなく、強さを感じる。これらの名前は具体的で、シンプルではっきりしています。最初からこの新しい布を「ネコヤナギ」のようだと思っていました。
