Tempête Blouse
Blending clean lines and sophistication, the Tempête blouse boasts a drape of exquisite femininity. The pattern construction plays with pleats, proportions, and a trompe-l'oeil collar effect. The sleeves can be long, constructed with stitched pleats and a buttoned cuff, like a shirt. You can also sew the Tempête blouse sleeveless, with impeccable armhole finishes, for a very elegant top to wear on any occasion.
The Tempête pattern is available in sizes from 34 to 52.
Sewing level: intermediate; The pattern's technical points include: sewing pleats, attaching a sleeve, sewing a cuff onto a two-piece sleeve, and inserting an invisible zipper. The sleeveless version eliminates the technical aspects of attaching the sleeve and cuff.
Fabrics: Soft and lightweight fabrics between 70 and 200g/m2, which press well with an iron to facilitate sewing pleats: poplin, crepe, voile, lace, thin denim or chambray, in cotton, viscose, linen, tencel or even silk.
