Folio Blouse

An easy-to-wear, quick-to-sew little blouse, always with an eye for detail that shapes the silhouette: this is FOLIO. The front bodice features two pretty pleats that can be embellished (or not) with decorative buttons, the neckline is open, and the three sleeve versions allow you to enjoy your pattern all year round. The design can be made in a variety of fabrics depending on the desired look, and the long sleeve features a beautiful trompe l'oeil buttoned cuff, allowing for contrasting materials.

🪡 Sewing level: Beginner - Intermediate. The main technical aspects are sewing the pleats accurately, buttonholes, and constructing the concealed edge-to-edge cuff hidden beneath a pleat.
📏 Sizes: UK 6–24 (FR 34–52); drafted for a height of 165 cm (5’5”). The finished garment measurement chart is available in the product photos.

Supplies

• Fabric for a width of 140 cm
  • 34-46: 130 cm
  • 48-52: 150 cm
• 30 cm of fusible interfacing
• 6 buttons for the front, 2 for the cuffs, max. 12 mm diameter

Fabric Choices

Light to medium weight fabrics (80 to 220 g/m2) with varying drape depending on the desired look. A viscose, a fine and supple jacquard, a tencel, a cotton, a crepe, poplin, satin, or twill.
