Championed by Liberty throughout the ages, the wonderful lily flower in its various forms was closely associated with the Aesthetic, Arts & Crafts as well as Art Nouveau movements. Inspired by a hand-painted artwork discovered in the Liberty archive, this large-scale portrait is a modern rendition of the original, featuring stylised blooms over an undulating, acanthus leaf trail.
