Noro Flowers 4 (Jenny Watson Designs)
My inspiration for this fourth Noro book comes from the beautiful summer flowers that adorn the villages and towns across Yorkshire in the Summer months. Walking round my home town of Ilkley last year I was amazed at the array of delicate flowers than managed to last, despite the weather, for the 'Yorkshire in Bloom' competition. This is a regional contest of which I was proud to learn that Ilkley has gained a gold in the small town category. So for me all the designs in the 'Flower' collection have a symbolic meaning of delicateness, elegances and homeliness, which come together to create one of the most delightful ranges of ladies knitwear.
The collection incorporates a range of tops, sweaters, cardigans and jackets with various design features to give an all round choice of garment. It also features a crochet blanket designed and made by Marcia Davis, a valued customer of Knitting Fever. Two new yarns have been included in this book, Chirimen and Furisode along with some existing popular yarns such as Silk Garden, Kureyon, and Taiyo all which have beautiful shade ranges.
Many thanks for your support.
