Do you have an overlocker but not sure you know how to get the best out of it?
Then this workshop is for you.
This one-day course of 5-6 hours gives students a greater understanding of their overlocker and allows them to continue using it at home confidently. The course covers four thread overlocking, three thread overlocking, rolled hems, differential feed, techniques for better results when stitching a circle, corners and working with difficult fabrics. The kit provided includes a comprehensive 23 page booklet and all fabrics required for the day.

Your tutor: Kate Marra has an extensive background with overlockers, having previously worked with Baby Lock. Kate has been running these workshops around Victoria for the last few months.
Students are required to bring:
- Their own overlocker—in good working order
- Instruction manual
- Foot control
- Accessories (i.e. screw drivers, etc.)
- Rolled hem plate (if required to achieve a rolled hem on your machine)
- Spare needles
- 4 spools x good quality overlocking thread
